The Virtue Audio T-Amps

You should definitely check these out, they are great amps. Pretty much all you'll ever need.
I did some consulting work on these in the early stages, but then Roger Sheker of Audience took over the project and I must say, he did a great job!

These amps not only sound great (the important part) they also have enough power for most home use - and they are beautifully both built inside and out. I do wish I'd had more of a hand in the design, as good as they are - but hey, I'm not too jealous.

These amps are based on the Tripath controller chips with external (1 per channel) power transistor chips. So they have the great Tripath sound, with more power than the small single chip amps I've been used to dealing with. One of the cool things is that the power supplies are upgradable - you have a choice of different voltages/powers. I hope to compare the power supplies differences myself some time soon, as I didn't get the chance at RMAF.

BTW, for those of you who run a powered sub, good news! There is a summed, buffered mono output on the back just for you. That's handy, as these BTL (Bridge Tied Load) amps are hard to connect to a normal sub.

Fit and finish are very good, and the things feel very solid. It's the kind of object you feel good about just holding it. Can you tell I like them? :)

I have not yet heard the bigger amps - the Sensation - but will report when I get my hands on one.
